WHAT IS THE INITIATIVE?
The Send the Word Initiative unites artists across the country in a shared mission: to prayerfully hand-paint Bibles that will be given free of charge to people who may never have owned one before. Each Bible is transformed into a unique work of art, not to draw attention to the artist, but to reflect the beauty of the Gospel and invite someone to open the pages within.
At Majesty Project, we believe that God's Word has the power to transform lives. As Christian artists, we simply have the privilege of helping carry it into the world.
HOW IT WORKS
Become an Artist
Complete a short application to join the Send the Word Initiative.
Return Your Bible
Carefully package and ship your completed Bible back to Majesty Project using our return shipping package.
Receive Your Bible
Majesty Project will mail you a Bible along with a note to fill out and a prayer for the recipient.
We Send It
Majesty Project oversees the Bible's distribution to people who need hope in their hands.
Paint & Pray
Hand-paint the Bible using a favorite verse or theme. As you create, pray for the person who receive it.
God Does the Rest
We trust the promise of Isaiah—God's Word accomplishes His purposes in every life it reaches.
where does my bible go?
These Bibles are placed into the hands of people in homeless communities, prisons and jails, recovery programs, pregnancy resource centers, shelters, foster care ministries, hospitals, and other places where access to God's Word may be limited and hope is needed most.
